Working over the last 25 years with established and emerging firms in worldwide marketing, strategic planning, organizational development and economic development, Dr. Szczurek reenergizes business plans, implementation programs and workforces to impact the bottom-line. A professional member of the National Speakers Association, Theresa has reached hundreds of thousands of people as a public speaker, facilitator and seminar leader. A certified consultant in small group facilitation, individual development and management, Theresa also serves on a number of boards, including CTEK's President's Advisory Council.

Theresa began her successful career at Bell Telephone Laboratories and AT&T International designing business information systems before managing the delivery of these systems into world markets. A successful entrepreneur, she co-founded and built Radish Communications Systems, a company that increased the efficiency and value of telephone computer transactions, then sold the company for over $40 million. She earned an MS in Operations Research from Stanford University and an MBA and PhD in Business Administration (with a focus in Marketing and Organization Development) from the University of Colorado.

Working relentlessly to help the underprivileged, Theresa raised a $300,000 endowment for the Colorado BPW Foundation that would assist women in attaining economic self-sufficiency through education. For her efforts in helping women be more competitive in worldwide trade and for raising international educational funds, Theresa has received the Business Professional Women (BPW)/Colorado "Spirit Award," the BPW/USA "National Issues Management Award" and the "BPW Visionary Award."

An accomplished and revered author, Theresa's latest book, Pursuit of Passionate Purpose: Success Strategies for a Rewarding Personal and Business Life, reveals that the real key to a successful and happy life is in knowing what it is that you truly desire and pursuing it with determination. Recognized internationally as a guru in entrepreneurship and business incubation, Dr. Szczurek also recently co-authored Financing High Technology Ventures with executives from the Polish Chamber of Commerce.

An awarded professional, Theresa Szczurek was selected as the "Woman of the Year" by the BPW Federation. She was also named the "YWCA Woman of Achievement" and Denver Business Journal's 1999 "Real Women, Real Business" winner. For her tireless efforts in advising entrepreneurs to appoint more women on powerful boards, she received the "2002 Rotarian of the Year Award" and the "2001 Quiet Hero Award" from Boulder Rotary Club for "Service Above Self." She has also received the Colorado Technology Incubator (now known as CTEK) "Model of Excellence Award" and the "Board Member Service Award."
