Randy is the author of On My Honor, I Will and Results Rule! and creator of two consulting processes POSITIVE PERFORMANCE® Management and INTEGRITY-DRIVEN® Leadership. Additionally, Randy serves as an adjunct instructor in the Cox Business Leadership Center at Southern Methodist University.

Pennington's expertise has made him an internationally respected guest commentator with appearances on CNN, PBS, Fox News, the ABC Radio Network and the BBC. His ideas have appeared in The Wall Street Journal, The New York Times, Entrepreneur, Executive Excellence, Training & Development, in numerous newspapers and many professional/trade association journals.

Randy holds a Bachelors and Masters degree in Psychology and completed post-graduate work in Organization Administration and Management. He was the 1998-99 Chairman of the Board for the American Heart Association, Texas Affiliate, and he was named as a founding member of the National Speakers Association since 1988 and earned the Certified Speaking Professional (CSP) designation in 1996. He served on the NSA Board of Directors in 2000, and currently serves as Chairman of the Board for the NSA Foundation Board of Trustees.
