Larry McReynolds

     LARRY McREYNOLDS
       Motivational Speaker
Capitol City Speakers Bureau Two-time Daytona 500 champion crew chief Larry McReynolds joins legendary driver Darrell Waltrip and veteran race announcer Mike Joy to form the Emmy Award-winning NASCAR on FOX broadcast team.

Offering keen insight into the complicated inner-workings of race teams, including pit crew details, car descriptions and particulars of the driver/crew chief relationship, McReynolds was an instant success during the 2001 premiere season, which was his first, spent behind the camera full-time. Upon teaming with Joy and Waltrip, their consistently strong performance prompted The New York Times to write, "Every TV motorsports race team should be measured against FOX's Mike Joy, Darrell Waltrip and Larry McReynolds for pure intensity." McReynolds also serves as an analyst for NASCAR coverage on FX and SPEED. How to Become a
 Winning Crew Chief
by Larry McReynolds

Larry McReynolds has over 30 years of racing experience under his cap, and has literally seen and done it all. His NASCAR career began in 1975, and he took the helm of his first team as crew chief in 1985. Three years later he earned his first Cup win at Watkins Glen with Ricky Rudd behind the wheel. In 1991, McReynolds teamed with owner Robert Yates and driver Davey Allison to win 11 races and three pole positions, establishing himself as one of the elite crew chiefs in NASCAR.

Larry won his first Daytona 500 in 1992 with Davey Allison behind the wheel. The second came after joining Richard Childress Racing in 1997, when McReynolds helped NASCAR legend Dale Earnhardt capture the one missing jewel from his champion's crown. McReynolds served as a NASCAR Winston Cup crew chief from 1985-2000, amassing 23 Winston Cup wins, 21 poles, 122 top five finishes and 209 top ten finishes.

His success and thorough approach to his crew chief responsibilities earned him selection to the Copenhagen/Skoal All-Pro Team for five straight years (1991-1995), an all-star who's who of crewmembers.
