In 1999, he was named "One of the Outstanding Five Speakers in the World" by Toastmasters International, where he joined former winners Colin Powell, Nelson Mandela, Margaret Thatcher and Les Brown. In 2005, he was inducted into the National Speakers Hall Of Fame, joining luminaries like Ronald Reagan, Colin Powell, Zig Ziglar and Harvey McKay! Admission into Hall of Fame is a lifetime award for speaking excellence and professionalism. Inductees are evaluated by their peers through a rigorous and demanding process. Today, there are less than 200 people in the world who have been inducted into the Speaker Hall of Fame and less than 100 who hold both the CSP (Certified Speaking Professional) and CPAE/Speaker Hall of Fame designation.
