Marty Grunder is the President of Marty Grunder! Inc., a business consulting company that provides training, business consulting, and speaking services to Green Industry entrepreneurs and business leaders throughout the United States and Canada. Marty is an author and noted authority on leadership, team building, sales and marketing, and personal and business success.

Marty has inspired audiences with his practical advice, creative ideas and incredible enthusiasm since 1995. His portfolio has grown to hundreds of clients including The Ohio State University, Dow AgroSciences, PLANET, Ditch Witch, Park National Bank, Lawn and Landscape magazine, Bayer Environmental Science, Xavier University and DUCTZ International. Marty has given over 500 talks and has motivated audiences ranging from 20 to 9,000 people.

Marty has been personally influenced by some of the top motivational speakers in the country, including Dr. John Maxwell and Mark Sanborn. Marty's book, The Nine Super Simple Steps to Entrepreneurial Success, was named Business Book for the year at the Independent Book Awards in 2003. He is currently working on two new books.

Not only is Marty the President of Marty Grunder! Inc., but he is also the President and CEO of Grunder Landscaping Co., one of the Midwest's most successful landscaping companies. His strong entrepreneurial spirit and business success have allowed Marty to motivate and teach entrepreneurs how to reach their personal and business goals.

In recognition of his accomplishments, Marty was named the Young Entrepreneur of the Year in the Midwest, and was twice named the Young Entrepreneur of the Year in the State of Ohio by the U.S. Small Business Administration. He has also won the Ernst and Young Entrepreneur of the Year Award. His landscaping company has won numerous national awards for their efforts, including the Better Business Bureau's prestigious Eclipse Integrity Award.

A life-long resident and active member of the Dayton community, Marty serves on the board of Park National Bank and the University of Dayton Business Advisory Council, and chairs Building Bridges' Hal McCoy Baseball Clinic for at-risk youth.

He also coaches his daughter's basketball team, serves as a lector at Incarnation Church, works to foster entrepreneurship among area youth, and volunteers his time and treasure to numerous charitable organizations.
