Bob Ash founded his company, Life Lessons, in 1995. Since then, he has provided training to more than 1,500 organizations and businesses, numbering more than 340,000 people. Prior to 1995, Bob served in several different positions in education. He was a janitor, teacher, principal and superintendent of schools. He also played a few years of professional baseball.

Bob created Life Lessons to ensure that companies, businesses, organizations and schools would have the chance to offer their employees the sort of presentation that would be helpful and memorable. Each Life Lessons event is tailored to meet the needs of the individual client.

Bob's keynote presentations and seminars train, inform and motivate on a wide variety of management and organizational behavior topics.

In his presentations, Bob Ash strives to provide people with practical, solid information, to challenge them to look at their own behaviors to see if any need adjusting and to provide a learning experience that is enjoyable to attend. Bob thinks laughter should be a part of every presentation, as well as practical ideas and tools to improve what it is we do in life.

  • Creating and Maintaining a Dynamic Workplace : This presentation centers on what can be done to create a positive workplace environment. In the end, it boils down to specific attitudes and behaviors of everyone involved. The class is interactive, with just the right dose of humor and discussion. Participants will learn practical information which will help them do their part in creating the most positive workplace possible.

  • The Musketeers Got It Right: All for One, One for All - This presentation builds on the famous maxim of the Musketeers as it applies to people working together. It can serve as the foundation for the loyalty, respect and dedication that each of us can choose as our behaviors as human beings. Included in the session is an assessment tool which can be used to measure eight qualities of success for team members. We will also share plenty of laughter.

  • Earning the Right to Lead - This presentation answers the question, "What Gives a Man or Woman the Right to Lead?" The answer is not gained by election or appointment. Having position, title, rank or degrees also does not make people leaders. Leadership does not come automatically with age or experience either. Nobody can be given the right to lead. It must be earned. Great leaders do not focus on making people follow…instead they focus on making themselves the kind of person others want to follow. We will examine six behaviors that will allow us to become leaders who earn the right to lead Great leaders also lead in creating laughter.

  • Change is Inevitable, Growth is Optional : Change is constantly occurring both inside and outside our workplaces and individual lives. Our challenge is to understand the change process, while also managing the change as pro-actively as possible. Change is, indeed, inevitable. However, our way of dealing with the change is a choice. If we can manage the change pro-actively whenever possible and deal with it openly - no matter when we are faced with it - then our choice regarding change can be growth.
